Ohhh my….not feeling real good about the rat, but how special that you could “give” Our Blessed Mother to a young girl – to be her Mother for now and always! What a comfort to her….and a blessing to you as well. Pictures are great and thanks for sharing your experiences.
You remain in my prayers,
Chris Your “La Plata Mom” if you’ll have me!!

Oh Sandy, you must be loving the rat! Seriously, does wild fun follow you wherever you go? I love it. I love reading the stories of your mission…what a witness. I am praying for you!

This is so beautiful, I love the work you are doing and the happiness you’re bringing to those children. I’ve been discerning my vocation and am quite certain that God is calling me to the Servants. I’m in France now but when I come back to the States, I am going to apply for postulancy. Please pray for me! You’re all in my prayers, too.

Aunt Alice and Sandy,
Sandy, FYI, Aunt Alice is my sister. I know, cool nickname right? Made it up myself. Your guy’s stories are great and am glad to hear about all the miracles and blessings from God. I’m sure there have been some rough patches too but thanks for sacrificing for the greater cause.
Alice, get that ‘lil rat outta here.
I hope the lobster and crabcake dinners each night have been terrific. haha jk. If there is any way, let me know how the living experience is going. How hot, How hot at night, any bugbites, hows the food, etc. etc.
God Bless,
Todd
P.s. hope your ready for a full gym regiment. I’M GETTING JACKED OVER HERE!!

Hey Allie,
I posted a blog about a week ago but I don’t see it. I must have left it somewhere out in space! It sounds like you are loving it and the kids are loving you. I never would have thought you would have a smile on your face with a rat in the room. I guess it could be worse. I hear they have alligators in FLA. I know you will never regret your time there. Keep smiling! Love, A.E

Allie-Gurl,
Can’t find the message I left about Russell at daily Mass. He broke his foot while on the Men’s Retreat. Crutches and cast! He doesn’t have internet, otherwise he would leave you a message himself. Russell says he’s keeping the cast so you can see it when you come back.
Also, Mr. Larry is sending a package from the Knights. It should probably go in the mail Friday 3/13. Lost of beads to make Rosaries. Bug spray. Craft stuff. Etc., etc., etc. Maybe even a check or two.
I guess you know Josh didn’t make the tennis team. Your prayers still worked, however, because he’s still and good spirits and intends to work hard for next year’s team. He’s already told the coach he plans to be there next year.
Love to all,
Mom
